I usually am someone who pushes against the media’s narrative that the sky is falling for teams.
They are usually wrong.
In this case, I’m going to be at least entertaining this idea.
The Raiders were set to be a threat last season. They added DeVante Adams to a team that had made the playoffs the year prior.
The season didn’t go as planned.
They finished 6 and 11 and blew multiple leads.
They have since gotten rid of a ton of their best pieces. They let Derek Carr leave and have since traded Darren Waller for basically nothing close to what he was worth.
I don’t really understand this.
The Raiders were 4-9 in one-score games. Why would you blow up the team when you clearly have the foundation to be a very good NFL team?
It just doesn’t make sense to me. I do like Jimmy G but I don’t think he is an improvement over Derek Carr. All these moves have done is make the rest of the roster mad.
