NBA Pick: Thunder +6,
The Lakers ATS this season when a home favorite are just 5-6. This is a good spot for the Thunder they got blown out by the Warriors last night and want to regroup here on a big stage. Shai will look to shine on national tv and the lakers all season have struggled to guard opposing point guards. They give up the second most points in the league to point guards at 27.93 points per game. One of my main reasons for this pick is LeBron chasing the scoring title. I like Shai to control the game and the lakers to worry about LeBron too much and cover at +6.
NBA Prop: Ayo Dosunmu over 15.5 Points, Rebounds, Assists
This season the Grizzles give up 23 points, 8 assists, and a high total of 7 rebounds per game to the point guard position this season. Ayo in his last 10 games is averaging 29.6 minutes, 11 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds per game. He has hit this total in his past three games and expect more of the same versus this Memphis team that gives up rebounds to point guards.
NBA Parlay: Hawks+5, Suns-2,
The Hawks versus the Pelicans is a pick-me game but ill tell you think if you tease the hawks you will have an edge. The Pelicans this season have been great at home and the Hawks have been good away from home but not great. The Hawks play through their guards in the pick-in roll. The Pelicans currently give up a total 46 points per game to shooting guard and the point guard position. I expect Trae young and Murray to thrive against the pelicans. The hawks are 11-9 ATS as an away underdog and you are getting 4 extra points.
The suns are coming off a big win against the Boston Celtics in Boston. The Nets just played a game last night versus a tough clippers team in a game that came down to the final minutes. When the Nets play at a rest disadvantage 4-8 ATS and you are getting the suns at -2. Devin Booker is returning tonight for the Suns and will cause problems for the Nets defense. This season the nets allow 24 points and 3.74 threes per game to the shooting guard position. I like the suns here with a tease to basically get them on a moneyline play versus a tired nets team.
