NFL Week One Bets:

Saints vs Falcons:

Saints -5.5

This might end up being my bet of the week. I simply don’t see a situation where the Saints can’t cover a 5.5 spread. They are great on defense offensively they should be able to score on the Falcons.

49ers vs Bears:

Under 40.5

I like the under here. The 49ers are going to be careful with playcalling in Trey Lance’s first game and are likely going to rely heavily on the run game and defense. Pair that with a Bears team that is likely not going to be that good this should be an easy under hit.

Eagles vs Lions:

I’ll be honest this pick is only because I like the Lions. The Lions have talent and I do believe they can upset an Eagles team that I view as currently overhyped. If you need an underdog take a look at the Lions.

Pats vs Dolphins:

Dolphins -3.5/Under 46.5

I expect this game to be ugly. The only way the Patriots win is by keeping this game low scoring. I expect a lot of defense and a lot of three-and-outs. With the addition of Tyreek Hill, I also like the Dolphins to be able to put up enough points to cover the spread.

Panthers vs Browns:

Everyone seems to be sleeping on the Panthers. This was a team that early last season was getting praised by everyone. When McCaffrey went down their season fell apart. They now have McCaffrey back and have upgraded at QB with the addition of Baker Mayfield.

Colts vs Texans:

Colts -7

This seems like a really good spot for the Colts. I think Matt Ryan is going to have a great year with a Colts team that is stacked with talent. I like the Texans but I don’t expect them to be able to match up here.

Giants vs Titans:

Giants ML or Giants +5.5

I am quite biased in making this pick as a Giants fan. With that being said I still think this is a good spot. The Titans are set to have a down year in my view. They lost AJ Brown and I could see them actually missing the playoffs. The Giants need to have a good season. All eyes are going to be on Saqoun Barkley and Daniel Jones and this is a perfect chance for them to make a statement.

Chiefs vs Cardinals:

Over 53.5

Hammer this over. I expect a ton of offense here.
