ESPN Predicts Celtics Win The East – “Now Arguably The NBA’s Deepest Team”

ESPN is now predicting that the Celtics will win the entire Eastern Conference. They predict that the Celtics will have a 54-28 record.

They also said that the Celtics are now one of the deepest teams in the entire NBA.

From Yahoo Sports:

The last time the Boston Celtics earned the Eastern Conference’s No. 1 seed in the NBA playoffs was the 2016-17 season. ESPN is projecting the C’s to do it again during the upcoming 2022-23 campaign.

ESPN’s NBA insiders have revealed their win/loss projections for the East, and they predict the Celtics to finish 54-28, barely edging out the Milwaukee Bucks (also projected to be 54-28) for the top record in the conference.

It is hard to argue with this. Not only did the Celtics end up being the best team in the East last season but they also had the best offseason in the entire league. Adding Brogdon and Gallanari to this team was a massive move.
